I’m NOT a CHICKEN!!!
There was a chicken farmer who find found a baby eagle who had fallen from its nest. The chicken farmer took the eagle back to the chicken coop and raised him with his other chickens. The eagle spent his days pecking around on the ground, eating dirt, squawking at the other chickens. Walking, talking, and ACTING like a chicken. One day the poor old eagle hears a shriek and looks up towards the sky just long enough to catch a glimpse of a large majestic bird’s silhouette in the sun. The majestic bird is soaring up over everything and seemingly FLOATING in and through the clouds.The poor old eagle looks at the chicken farmer and says, “What was THAT?” The farmer replies, “That is an EAGLE, The KING of the AIR”. He says, “That is who YOU are meant to be… You are not a chicken. You are an EAGLE!” At that moment something happened on the inside of that eagle. He begins to stand up straight. To stretch out his wings and feel the air underneath him. Before long, he built up the courage to FLY.
It wasn’t until the poor eagle could SEE what he could BE that he reached his greatest potential. There is a popular saying, “In-order to get something you have never had, you have to DO something you have NEVER DONE!” This speaks to your purpose and your passions. It is an element of FAITH! I also have a similar saying. It is, “You can only BE what YOU SEE!” If you can’t see it, you certainly will never be it.
Think about it…
It is extremely rare for someone who grew up in one environment or even one social class to “move classes”. We are all products of the environment in which we are reared, brought up, and can SEE daily. So your world is, normally, limited to your vision. In order to expand our world, we have to expand our vision of the world. When our vision changes… Our WORLD does. Expand your mind. Watch a show that your wouldn’t normally watch… Read a book that your wouldn’t normally read… Go bungee jumping…. (Well maybe not…) LOL ;-) but, expand your vision and E-N-L-A-R-G-E your world. You are only limited by your own ability to see past your current circumstances. If you can’t see it… You can’t be it. SELAH…
SN: Eagles shouldn’t hang with CHICKENS… Their perspectives are too different! One has the SKY on their LIPS…

You cannot learn to soar like an eagle hanging with pigeons, in order to learn how to fly like an eagle one must hang with eagles. A pigeon can teach you how to be a scavenger and a peasant!
